Help Stop Florida Legislators From District-Rigging
I received the following email from the ACLU of Florida regarding the Fair Districts Florida campaign to stop district-rigging. Help give voters a real voice in choosing their representatives. Only Florida residents registered to vote in the state can sign the petitions. If you know someone in Florida, please pass this along.

Last week we told you about our work with the Fair Districts Florida Coalition. We are building momentum and working toward creating fair districts in Florida but we still need your help to create constitutionally mandated standards that will require fairness, not partisanship, in the reapportionment process that would stop members of the Legislature from rigging the process to benefit themselves.
Standing Up For Gay Rights Won't Make You Popular
I moved to Florida about 15 months ago and only recently started reading our local newspaper, Florida Today. I'm proud of our paper. The editorial staff weighed in on the recent gay adoption ruling and fully supports ending the Florida ban on gay adoptions in a strongly worded editorial. Here are a few snips:

1. The liberal group Moveon.org offers a "fun" voter harassment video service. From the convenience of your computer you can harass, coerce, even terrify anyone on your email list with a personalized "you better vote for Obama or else" video message. The video delivery site, CNNBC site says the following:
