Week ahead. Debate, SarahCuda and work sticky icon

Yeah work.  It's one of those nasty weeks, but it is short since I'm home for Columbus Day.

Speaking of Columbus Day, I was headed to Logan to pick my son up today and took a long slow ride down the North Shore of Mass.  I went to Nahant, an island connected by a mile long causeway, and walked the beach at low tide with many others and their dogs.  It was a classic 10 of New England Fall days. So I left Nahant went down through Revere and got myself caught in traffic twice.  Why?  Columbus Day parades in thsse very Italian communities.

Debate:  We will of course have our usual debate chat here on Wed. night.  Live chat like you've used at blogtalk or other places.  No refreshing required the system is automatic and fast.  Lots of fun, I must admit and we had a great crowd for the last two debates.

Hillary 2.0 - Al Franken?

"A number of people have told me to study the Hillary model of being a senator," Franken said after they met last February. "Put your head down and do the work."

Franken appears determined to establish credibility as a serious lawmaker. No acerbic wit. No bombastic attacks on conservatives.

That from the Star Tribune. http://www.startribune.com/politics/state/49939822.html

I've decided to trust in Cal and give the guy a chance.  He's not female, therefore most definatley not in the Partizane mold of candidates this site will unofficially support.  But i liked his take on the Lying liars and I like that he seems to be embracing the habits of the best Senator I've seen in many many years.
