So let me get this straight.  My fellow lefties in politics and of course "the media", are all a twitter over the Republicans falling in love with Sarah Palin.  Why?  Because "she has no substance", no committed ideology and worst of all, her only claim to fame is being famous.

She is a rabble rouser without a cause.  A great orator with no subject matter.  One who's only cause is winning the big prize.

Sound familiar? 

What Sarah Palin is most of all, is a student of the Obama/Axelrod(Rove) method of electioneering and Democrats are scared shitless.

Their immediate way of fighting the Palin phenomena is to poke fun, give the woman no credit for knowing exactly what she's doing.  Many Clintonites thought people would care that Obama never stood for anything.  Wrong.

I could hardly believe what I was hearing as Lou Dobbs announced he is leaving CNN, effective tonight. The NYT reports that Dobbs met with Fox's Roger Ailes in September but a spokesperson said today, “We have not had any discussions with Lou Dobbs for Fox News or Fox Business.”

They say Dobbs is anti-immigration but that's inaccurate. Dobbs, along with most of America, is anti-illegal immigration. CNN is way too in-the-tank with Obama and they have miserable ratings as a result. Fox News Channel is tops in the ratings by a very wide margin.

Let's hope we get to hear more from Lou Dobbs in the very near future. He'll still be on the radio.
