Obama's "new era of responsibility" lasted about half a day

Did America have a collective frontal lobotomy and people have already forgotten what Obama campaigned on?

Obama has hired a constant stream of OLD WASHINGTON HANDS, the very people he said, during the campaign, were the cause of all our problems.

Obama said he would bring CHANGE to Washington, but every person Obama has hired or appointed to high-level positions in his administration has been in --  or in and out of -- government for years. They have been senators, House members, Cabinet officials, lobbyists, and extremely highly-paid "consultants," or  "advisors" to the very corporations now grabbing our tax dollars by the moving-van load.

During the campaign, didn't Obama sneer at Hillary's years of Washington experience (and her years as Bill's closest advisor when he was Arkansas governor)? 

Didn't Obama tell us "experience" in Washington was bad, and that he was better because he hadn't been around Washington long enough to be tainted by it's habits?

Hasn't Obama hired or appointed (in his first 14 days) a string of Old Washington Hands who have been corrupted by Washington's culture of "we're special and you're not"? (Only the little people pay taxes?)

The series of tainted nominees raises questions about the Obama administration's vetting process, and leaves the new president reeling as he tries to get Congress to pass the biggest economic stimulus package in history.

Didn't Obama's nominees: Bill Richardson, Tim Geithner, Tom Daschle, and Nancy Killefer  crash and burn because of one  type of scandal or another? Well, Geithner got in, but by only a whisker -- and some are taking a second look at Geithner's ethical problems (they're worse than first reported).  http://tinyurl.com/bcj3nx

The point is there is NOT one new face among Obama's hires; we have seen them all for years on end.

So, where's the change?

Where are the new faces?

Where are the ethical appointees (besides Hillary Clinton)?

Are they all tainted?
