Obama's Middle East Shift to the Dark Ages
Three months ago, President Obama and his White House staff treated Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pretty shabbily. The once key ally was left to his own devices, while the President withdrew to have dinner in private. Obama wouldn’t even allow himself to be photographed with the Israeli Prime Minister. It was an intentional slight by the President, since we know he goes out of his way to bow to the Saudi King and embraces Hugo Chavez.

should have been a wake-up call to Americans that Obama would not stand with Israel as he promised in the primaries; that he would instead reach out to Islamic forces that seek to destroy the only true democracy in the Middle East. It didn't take long for it to actually haappen. Yesterday, U.S. President Barack Obama hosted Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at the White House to ensure him that the fallout over the Gaza flotilla would not derail peace efforts.
There was even the photo-op on the left that shows Obama shaking hands with Abbas. Reuters reported that Obama called on Israel to work with all parties to find a solution for Gaza and said the United States is providing $400 million in new aid for the Palestinians. (Did you get that, 400 million to the Palestinians, which means the terrorist organization, Hamas?) It’s an important development, one that should not be ignored.
Last night, DR Charles Krauthammer didn’t ignore it. Appearing on Special Report, he said that Obama has shifted and reversed the course of American sympathies in the Middle East:
For those of us, who have been paying attention, Obama’s Middle East shift is far from surprising. Remember Candidate Obama talked about his Muslim faith when he was interviewed by Stephanopoulos for ABC News. The Progressive interviewer corrected him as if it was a slip of the tongue, but the future President was just being honest then. It was one of the many signals that his Presidency would seek a new world order, despite his campaign promises to the contrary.
While Hillary Clinton joined the condemnation of Israel this week, Vice President Joe Biden to his credit was the only member of the Obama administration to defend Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip and its decision to intercept the peace activist/terrorist flotilla that claimed “humanitarian aid.” In an interview with Charlie Rose, Vice President Biden pointed out that Israel had given pro-Palestinian terrorist activists the option of unloading their cargo at the Ashdod port, and offered to bring it to the Gaza Strip on their behalf.
In contrast to Obama and Clinton adding to the barrage of condemnations coming from all over the globe, many in the U.S. Congress expressed support for Israel.
House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer said Israel "rightfully invoked its right to self defense."
"Hamas could end the blockade at any time by recognizing Israel’s right to exist, renouncing violence, and releasing Gilad Shalit," Hoyer continued.
Other members spoke about why there is a need for the blockade of Gaza in the first place.
The blockade exists "to deny Hamas the weaponry and raw materials it needs to continue its rocket attacks in Israel, killing innocent people," Republican whip Eric Cantor said.
Americans were promised change, but our country is reeling from the kind of change Obama and his people have created in less than 18 months. Americans aren't seeing the type of leadership Obama promised. What we are seeing is in line with the "revolution" Progressive blogger-thugs promised throughout Obama’s campaign.
Progressives desire to de-develop the United States they despise and to create a new world order. Who among us are so blinded by past relationships and MSM propaganda that they cannot recognize the truth, when it is all around us? Naiveté is no excuse; they need to wake up before our great country becomes unrecognizable.

Lots of people don't care about tiny Israel so they don't care about Obama's policy shift towards the only free country in the ME. The thing is, they should care because of what that shift means to the US. It means we're weak at home and therefore less safe.
There are forces at work to bring down this country, as we've known it, from within and from outside our borders. We fail to realize that at our own peril.
I ran across something really appalling last night. When the IDF tried to board the Marmara ship, they came aboard armed with paintball guns. I thought, WTF were they thinking? Who's responsible for such a lame tactic? How could the Israeli government be so stupid? They want weapons, explosives, rockets, mortars and raw materials they can use to make things to use against Israel. When it comes to food, medicine, etc., they want for nothing. They want cement to use in smuggling tunnels.

This sequense of events will lead to a very dangerous war. I see very little room to manuver away from it. With China and Russia being on top of their proxy game and the US withdrawing overt public support for Israel, Israel is alone. I am not making any pro or con statement about Israel's recent actions, The bigger picture is a very dark place.
And yes, 400 million is a payment to Hamas. Iran will see to it that it is well spent, I am certian.

Iran will step up measures to force retailers selling clothing to comply with “Islamic values,” according to the police.
“Producing and distributing inappropriate clothes, those not complying with Islamic and Iranian culture, should be avoided,” Abbas Miraei, who heads the Office of Supervision of the Public Sphere for the Iranian police, was cited as saying today by Iranian Labour News Agency. Further details weren’t immediately available.
Iran has set aside $1.5 billion to promote “moral conduct,” including enforcement of its dress code for women, “to solve the cultural and social ills” in society, Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar said on May 10. His comments followed the introduction of a code of conduct at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences that bans loud laughter, nail polish, high heels and immodest clothing for women and men.

Saudi Arabia would not allow Israeli bombers to pass through its airspace en route to a possible strike of Iran's nuclear facilities, a member of the Saudi royal family said Saturday, denying an earlier Times of London report.
Besides, it's an old story. Don't know why the Times chose to run it now.
I'm expecting something to happen within the next 4 to 8 weeks. There's no choice now, it's do or die—literally.
I think it's guided by Bryzezinski and Rice, and we know whose side they both are on. (I am not liking what I'm seeing in the State Department. Clinton has done a poor job in my book.)
Bryzezinski should have been jailed after his Carter Iran fiasco, he is a malevolent force. Rice has the credentials, but seems to like being the focus of attention at diplomatic parties more than doing the hard stuff. (Come to think of it, that's a good thing, because she is another far-left loony that embraces America's enemies.)
Of course, from their view, Obama foreign policy is not inept, because they seek to de-develop us.
The Saudi's are use to having Israel as a foil. If iran takes this away or changes the dynamic it won't be just Israel involved.
BO is a vacuum that is allowing this to happen in.
