... but, no, we got Obama
There are days I just feel like weeping when I see what an unsavory mess Obama is making of just about everything he touches as president, and knowing we HAD an opportunity to have the best-qualified person as president, Hillary. I am painfully aware of all the issues on which she would have taken the lead and ACCOMPLISHED what she set out to do.
Obama just jaws and jaws and jaws and jaws. Left ... right ... left ... right ... left ... right ... left ... right ... left ... right ... left ... right ... goes his head as he READS prepared remarks from the teleprompter, since he is almost incoherent when he tries to speak extemporaneously on any critical and complicated issue.
Remember when Obama told us we had to fork out $878 Billion as "stimulus" dollars (including 8,900 earmarks, which candidate Obama had pledged to eliminate) or unemployment could reach EIGHT percent? Well, folks, as of today, unemployment is at NINE point EIGHT percent = 9.8%. And that's not even counting the formerly well-employed who are now taking low-paying part-time jobs just to be able to pay their rent and eat, nor is it counting the unemployed who have run out of their unemployment benefits. So the actual real unemployment rate is currently at least 17%.
Yet, Obama and His Lovely Wife saw fit to SQUANDER millions of our tax dollars jetting off -- in separate planes -- to try to win the 2016 Olympics for Chicago, which would have been a Major Boondoggle for Obama's slumlord friends whose decrepit properties would have been bought and torn down by the Olympic committee to make room for splendid sports palaces. Obama's Chicago pals stood to make $billions from having the Olympics come to Chicago.
(BTW, can we taxpayers be reimbursed for the $millions it cost to fly Michelle over to Copenhagen? I hope in the future she will stay home and spare us her "sacrifices.")
We COULD have had a real president, a functioning president, a qualified president, a strong president ... but, no, we got Obama.
