Senate Votes to Stop Funding Illegal Operations

BJinAmerica - Posted on 16 September 2009

The Story:

On Monday, the U.S. Senate voted 83-7 to strip Acorn (a community organizing group with deep ties to the Democratic Party and President Barack Obama) of more than $1.6 million in federal money. The vote followed the action taken last Friday by the U.S. Census Bureau to end its relationship with the organization after new revelations about ACORN were exposed by Fox News.

ACORN had been hired by the bureau along with other community organizations to conduct the coming census. Secretly recorded videos involving employees in Acorn's Brooklyn, N.Y., Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Md. and San Bernardino, Calif. offices have been televised on Fox News and released over the Internet. The most recent and perhaps most damning was a video recorded by two independent filmmakers who posed as a prostitute and a pimp. They pretended to be planning importation of underage El Salvadorian women for the sex trade and sought help from the Brooklyn-based ACORN. Their video shows they asked for and easily received information on getting a government subsidized house loan and advise on evading federal taxes.

Cut to the Chase:

Hmmm, fake prostitute and faux pimp want a house loan from the government, so they can run a house of prostitution filled with underage illegal aliens. They went to a government subsidized group to receive advice and found it from more than willing-to-break-the-law ACORN employees, no questions asked. It is the straw that breaks the camel’s back. The Census Bureau cuts ties with ACORN, and our Senate votes to end funding.

Where was the rest of the MSM in all of this? Why is our government throwing money down a sewer when so many Americans obviously need some relief? I ask you: Is this the end of the ACORN story?

ACORN, Kanye West and other crap clogging up the news cycles will only last as long as tbe next big story.  And ACORN doesn't even rate front page for most of the press because once again in their small minds, picking on ACORN is something only a racist would do.

The story will go away, ACORN will be funded, will count the census high where they want and go merrily towards putting their guy back in the White House.

The ACORN story was all over the media yesterday, especially broadcast media.

...24-hour news cycle.  Everything goes away, unless it's Friday.

The more light that can be shed on the sleaze in DC, the better. It's disgusting how much taxpayer money goes to terrorists, let alone the ACORN scum. ACORN is just the tip of the iceberg.
